Privacy policy
qrn collects no personal data, transmits none, and stores nothing on any server. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no trackers.
Data processed
Everything the app saves stays on your device only:
- your list of surahs on the home screen;
- settings: translation language, Arabic text size, transliteration, theme, haptics;
- bookmarked ayahs;
- downloaded recitation audio, so it plays without a connection.
None of it leaves the device. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Network access
The app's only network request downloads Qur'an recitation audio from the public host
download.quranicaudio.com. The request contains just the file address — no personal
data, device identifiers or progress information is sent.
Qur'an text, translations, transliteration and word timings are bundled in the app and work offline.
Data not collected
- name, e-mail, phone or any contact details;
- location;
- contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, camera;
- device and advertising identifiers;
- usage analytics;
- cookies.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children under 13.
Permissions
- Internet — downloading recitation audio.
- Background audio — so recitation keeps playing with the screen off.
Third-party services
No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs are used.
This website
qrn.kz loads no external analytics and does not track you. The only cookie is the site language you picked: it is set only when you click the language switcher yourself, lasts a year and goes nowhere. If you send a message through the feedback form, we receive the message text and whatever contact detail you chose to include; it reaches our Telegram and is stored nowhere else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date.
