FAQ
The short answers
How much does it cost?
Nothing. qrn is free — no ads, no paid features, no in-app purchases.
Do I need an internet connection?
The Qur'an text, translations, transliteration and word timings ship inside the app and work offline. The internet is only needed the first time audio is downloaded; after that it plays without a connection.
Who is the reciter?
Mishary Rashid al-Afasy. The audio comes from the public quranicaudio.com archive.
Where do the translations come from?
They are established published translations of the meanings. The app offers no interpretations of its own and no new forms of worship — only text, translation and recitation.
Does the app collect data?
No. There are no accounts, no analytics and no trackers. Everything you set stays on the device and is removed together with the app.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. The interface is available in Russian, Kazakh and English.
